Dla wielu lata 60. to najlepszy okres w muzyce popowej i rockowej. To wtedy tworzyły się standardy, na których współcześni wykonawcy bazują i inspirują się dziś. Gra "Mafia III" studia 2K Games, której premiera zaplanowana jest na 7 października 2016 roku, rozgrywać się będzie w Nowym Orleanie lat 60., właśnie, tak więc można się było spodziewać, że jej ścieżka dźwiękowa będzie się odwoływać do tamtejszej epoki. Ale ostateczna tracklista utworów, jakie usłyszymy podczas gry zdecydowanie przebija wszystkie oczekiwania.
